How did I compose this shot and post-processed it?
I walked around in the dark with my two dogs at Upper Kananaskis Lake to attempt to find a composition the would direct the viewers to the mountains during the sunrise.
As I walked around with my headlamp in the dark, I managed to find a rock formation; however, I felt something was missing in my composition and foreground. As such, I found two pieces of driftwood and placed them in a way that would give me a foreground element that would point to the mountains and not have the views look around the image.

Post-processing in Lightroom:
I opened the shadows, brought down the highlights, increased the white, decreased the black, adjusted the colors in camera calibration, did not apply any noise reduction or sharpening in Lightroom. Increased the Clarity and added a little bit of vibrance.
I shot 2 images, the driftwood and the mountains and stacked both of them in Photoshop. Since I shot in RAW, I brought all of the colors back to the image.
